I saw Cocoa on Facebook when an emergency animal hospital was trying to find him a home. A good Samaritan found him wandering the streets and had dropped him off there. He was in awful shape...so emaciated...35 lbs., cuts, worms and about a year old. Over 1,000 people had commented that they hoped he found a home. I was the only one who called about him. I picked him up about 30 minutes before he was surrendered to the Memphis high-kill shelter! I got him fixed up, neutered, and put him through heartworm treatment. He's now 2 years old and about 80 lbs. He's such a sweet boy and although he's dog aggressive, he's a love bug to every human he meets. No telling what he lived through the first year of his life. I'll make sure his remaining years will be full of love!
