Bubby was saved last minute off death row at a high kill shelter on New Years Eve. He was heart worm positive, malnourished, underweight, abused & scared. He's missing his right eye & has scars on his face, ears & body from previous abuse. It amazes me after everything he's been through, that he could still remain so loving & loyal to humans. The first time I ever seen his tail wag, it melted my heart, I knew then he felt safe with me & I was right where he wanted to be. He's my best friend. He provides so much joy & unconditional love to my life. I look at him & wonder how I ever got so lucky to have him as my companion. Who rescued who??
