Coney was originally bred by a backyard breeder in a low income city close to ours. He was taken to their local animal control and was later adopted by Justin. When Justin and Coney met he was covered in terrible mange due to being mistreated and stressed from being locked in a crate for most hours of the day. Due to that all of his teeth were broken from chewing on the crate bars. Justin adopted Coney after he came back from his year long deployment with the Army in 2009. To put it simply, Justin saved Coneys life and in turn Coney saved his. Coney was the friend that loved him always. He always listened, he never judged. He stayed in bed with him when he didn't have the strength to get out. Coney passed away 3/28/16 and he is so very much missed and loved.
