2 years ago, our family had to say goodbye to our beloved dog of 12 years. Our 4 year old took it the hardest. We were finally feeling like we were ready to adopt a new pup! Through a friend and via Facebook, we immediately fell in love with this beautiful girl. Sofi (named Summer by her rescue) is from the U.S. Virgin Islands and was born with 8 siblings to a stray mama dog. Her little fur family was rescued by the Humane Society of St. Thomas. We knew she was the one! Now 6, our son insisted that her name would be Sofi and she bravely took the long flight from the warm Caribbean to winter in New Hampshire. She is a lap dog as you can see, and is very happy in her new home here in New England. :)
