A little about me...
When our first furbaby, Sasha, crossed the Rainbow Bridge at 15 1/2 years old it was really hard for me to handle even though we had three other dogs at the time. A month and two days after Sasha crossed the bridge we went to the Peninsula SPCA to find the perfect fit for our pact. After looking inside I will never forget the volunteer who said we have one out side her name is Natalie. As we approached the outside run the volunteer said, “Natalie, these nice people want to meet you so you be a good girl now.” That’s when Natalie turned around with a full face smile and started vigorously wagging her tail and hind parts. She had us wrapped around her paw at that moment. She was approx 6 months old. We brought our other dogs up to meet her and they welcomed her into their pact. It was Valentines Day so we changed her name to Valentine. Upon leaving the SPCA with her they gave her a treat and she buried it under the tree. She crossed Rainbow Bridge this year in March at the age of 13 1/2. She was my storm chasing buddy and loved OBX. There wasn’t a day that went by that she didn’t smile. We miss her dearly.
