A little about me...
Piper had a rough time earlier in the year with a quick development of vestibular disease due to a sudden drop in her thyroid. Which was unusual for a dog her age. She was unsteady on her feet, unable to go up and down stairs, and had no desire to play. We were afraid we had lost the “Hyper Piper” we were so used to. And knew that her life might be vastly different. With the help of her veterinarian, we were able to stabilize her thyroid and help her work towards her old self. It took about 10 long weeks until she was feeling better. This is the first pic of her wanting to play after almost 3 months of sickness. And we were so happy to have our “Hyper Piper” back!
