A little about me...
I adopted Sally from the peninsula SPCA four years ago after I was given an ESA letter from my psychologist for my anxiety and depression. Upon meeting her, I knew that she was the girl for me. She also dealt with bad anxiety and I quickly became her emotional support human. She opened up quickly and I’ve had a permanent shadow since then. Last year she had surgery to remove a cancerous tumor from her leg with the hopes it didn’t return. Unfortunately it did, and we went ahead and went through with the process of amputation to prevent the cancer from returning. I now have the sweetest little tri-pawed baby who has completely changed my life in the best way possible. She runs to meet me at the door when I return home from work. She immediately wants to jump up on me the minute I sit down from how much she missed me. In the mornings, before I go to work, she makes sure she tries to be as cute as possible and force snuggles so I don’t leave to go to work for the day. She went from a scared cowering cat who was in shelters for months before I adopted her, to the highlight of my day every single day when I wake up to her cuddling next to me. She has become my absolute best friend and I can’t thank the peninsula SPCA enough for keeping her until I found my best friend.
