Pet's Story or Bio
Emmitt was adopted in 2015 from a rescue in Ocala as a breeder surrender. He is the funniest, silliest frenchie who is super expressionate & loves to bounce around like a bunny. He is also a scaredy cat and hides behind his mamma or sisters anytime there is a strange noise or anything odd. He's gaining his confidence slowly but surely and his true personality is shining through. He loves to make people laugh and has never met a human he didn't love. He likes to lay on his back with his feet up in the air until someone notices him and oohs and ahs over how cute he is and gives him a belly rub. He also does "low crawl" or "dog zombie" where he drags his back legs across the floor until everyone is in tears laughing at his antics. He loves to do zoomies and "hardcore parcor" where he jumps around on everything like a maniac. He also loves his toy boxes and bringing everything out all over the house daily. His favorite food is whatever I'm eating, he'll even eat vegetables - including cabbage - but draws the line at some things like turkey bacon & processed cheese (the only cheese he eats is mozzarella) and will spit sliced cheese out. He is a foodie but has a discerning palate. His favorite place to hide until you find him is in the bathtub - then he wiggles his butt at the ensuing laughter. He also loves to wait in the tub while mamma gets ready for work in the morning or bed at night, sometimes falling asleep in it if she takes too long. He also loves to sleep with his head on your pillow spooning & snoring softly into your ear all night, occasionally dusting you with frenchie fart perfume. Overall, he's my ham & my love, and such a good boy.
