Pet's Story or Bio
Josie was rescued from some mean-intentioned youths in TX who were chasing her and a buddy throwing rocks.

My coworker’s daughter was riding her horse and chased them away and picked her up and her buddy and brought them to her Aunt’s place, where she was staying. There the two pups ran with the chickens, horses, and other animals and splashed in the puddles with joy!

Meanwhile my coworker knew my husband and I had been mourning the loss of our golden for about a year. Especially my husband who was convinced she could not be replaced.

A picture posted of her stole his heart and peaked his interest. Within a few months, our coworker drove to TX, picked up Josie and brought her to our home. At first Josie wouldn’t go near my husband, and only approached me timidly.

After a week Josie and my husband were inseparable and have been ever since.

Josie has a little ‘knot’ on the top of her head so one of her nicknames is ‘knothead’, as well as ‘Josie Wales’ (if you’re a Clint Eastwood fan).

She’s grown into a beautiful girl now.
