How does this photo represent the theme – Life is Better Together?
At only a few weeks old, very underweight and extremely sick, these two adorable brothers along with their sister were brought into the United States to be sold for profit. They were hours away from deaths door with a deadly disease that took their sister to the rainbow bridge within a day or so of their arrival.

These nearly lifeless tiny babies were quickly surrendered to Long Island Bulldog Rescue (LIBR) to quickly try and save their lives. LIBR provided the very expensive funding for the immediate, intensive medical care required to save their lives from a highly contagious and deadly virus.

After a few weeks of intensive treatment through a professional veterinary medical team and a dedicated group of tireless Long Island Bulldog Rescue volunteers, these two inseparable, very strong-willed loving pups emerged, cured, happy and playful.

Together, their road to recovery would take several more months of monitoring with a healthy diet, exercise, training and gentle loving foster care. Their strong bond was key to their survival from this difficult experience.

After recovery in foster care, they were finally ready for adoption but it was evident they wanted to stay together. Today, we are happy and proud to say they remain forever bonded from their near death experience, happily living together at their forever home with a loving and caring family.
