Marie was a true blessing to the thousands of people she gleefully greeted as she volunteered for Rabbit & Small Animal Rescue at numerous fund-raisers, especially to the special needs children and adults who she inspired.
Due to Marie's handicap and special medical needs she was in permanent foster care with the Rabbit & Small Animal Rescue.
Marie was a big advocate for ALL abandoned pets and she was instrumental in getting the message out to the world that ALL pets deserve to live and be loved.
Marie passed peacefully in the arms of her loving foster mother, Donna, on Monday, April 29, 2013.
Marie showed the world what true compassion, empathy, and love can do for a once abandoned and injured pet.
Marie was a successful ambassador for all abandoned pets and she truly enjoyed meeting and greeting customers at the Petco adoption events.
