Honey was found as a stray on the streets of New York City many years ago where she landed at the New York ACC and was placed on the euthanasia list. She was clearly a mom used for breeding and then dumped. She was pulled by a rescue and landed with her current family as a foster fail. Honey is the sweetest dog who has welcomed many fosters into her home with a wagging tail! She loves everyone; people and dogs, big and small! She has even helped save other dogs from municipal pounds in CT by being a dog tester. Honey lost one of her front legs to bone cancer in November, 2021. Sadly, the cancer has metastasized to her remaining front leg. She does not have much time left on this earth, 😞 but she is spending the rest of her days being spoiled and loved by her family by taking daily walks in her stroller, dips in her doggy pool, rides in the car for ice cream and french fries, and going wherever her family goes!
