A little about me...
Chip came to us because his foster picture made him look like a cute little dog. I went to meet him with my kids in Saint Paul. They brought him in to meet us, and he was not the small little dog I thought he was, more of the average lab sized dog. Our house isn't terribly big, so I called my wife to check if this was the dog she was thinking of. They let us take chip out for a walk to get to know him, and he immediately led us out of the animal control building and made it clear he wasn't going back.
He had a bit of a traumatic life before, but he is the most mellow happy dog ever. Never barks, except when those mean squirrels tease him in his dreams.
