Katherine came to me as a foster; grossly overweight to the point she couldn't clean herself. When I realized no one was coming to adopt her, we sat down, discussed things and worked out a plan.

We agreed that we could both do better and set about changing things. She cut down on calories and increased her play time. Now she's a beautiful girl who loves nothing better than standing watch at the window to keep the birds in line. While her vigilance may seem overdone, it remains that no successful sparrow-led rebellion has ever taken place on her watch.
