Meet Rex—also known as Rexiboo, Rex E. Boo, Mr. Boo, or simply The Boo. This 5-year-old German Shepherd answers to any name, especially if snacks are involved.

Rex considers himself head of Home Security Operations. Every bag entering the house must be inspected, sniffed, and approved with enthusiasm that rivals airport security. He doesn’t walk —he runs everywhere, proudly protecting his humans and home at all times.

A big, lovable goofball, Rex believes personal space is optional and that snuggling should involve his full body weight, preferably while hogging the bed. He fancies himself a helpful assistant (results may vary).

He loves new toys—especially tennis balls, which he can destroy in under a minute—along with dog cookies, belly rubs, nose boops, and keeping watch over the family he adores.
