Fiorita was rescued from a colony when she was a kitten. Born to a feral cat, she was trapped by my friend and was in need of a foster to socialize her. When I saw her little sweet face that said "please help me feel safe, please love me, please give me a chance" well my heart completely melted. My 17yr old, love of my life, Coco had passed away only 10months prior and I was still completely heartbroken & shattered . Told myself I would not look for another kitty; was not ready. But then this little face in a cage showed up on my feed and I could not look away. I wanted to help her and I did it in honor of my Coco. My intention was to foster her, socialize her and help her find an amazing home, but alas she was already home.
