Tell us your Cool Cat's story!
We were moping around. Our son’s flight to Rochester was canceled after sitting for two hours on the Reagan tarmac. The wonderful weekend we had planned with our adorable grandkids had been ruined.
And then —we got a text from a friend at Pet Pride. Attached was a photo of a small black cat named Huckleberry who had arrived at the shelter just two days earlier. It seemed meant to be! We jumped in the car, hurried over to the shelter and soon left with our newest family member. We decided to rename him Pippin, since we previously owned a sweet kitty named Huckoberry.
Pippin was found living on the street with a feral clan of cats but wasn’t feral. He had been neutered but had no clipped ear. He may have been lost or abandoned. We’ll never know the whole story because Pippin isn’t talking.
We do know he’s a sweet boy who loves to hang outside with his older brother Bowie. We’ve had him for a year now, and he’s certainly made us forget about the cancelled flight!
