Tell us your Cool Cat's story!
When we first visited Gussie (aka Brooklyn, at the time) at Pet Pride, she enjoyed her safe roost atop the cat tower. We were looking for a tortoiseshell to adopt and Gussie caught our eye. We were told that her first couple of years had been rather rough. She arrived at Pet Pride with extensive mouth sores and developed a respiratory infection that threatened her life. The staff restored her health and prepared her for a new home and a better life. Gussie won our hearts and we decided to welcome her into our lives. Her journey from Pet Pride to our home was a stressful one and she initially hid under the bed for a few days. She soon acclimated to her new environment and became an incredibly playful and affectionate companion. She still loves her roost atop the cat tower where she can oversee the city of Rochester. We are so fortunate to have Gussie in our lives. – James and Mike
