Tell us your Cool Cat's story!
Celeste came to me through Pet Pride as a tiny little kitten in need of some extra TLC. The plan was for her to recuperate and go back to her foster home a few days later. Apparently the universe had OTHER plans and Celeste has been with me ever since. It turned out that while she was sick I was also stuck at home with COVID. We healed together as we snuggled on the couch with my old man cat Seymour. Seymour was a bit grumpy and didn't like other cats very much, but he tolerated Celeste and even let her sleep next to him. I lost Seymour shortly after that due to his chronic medical issues and felt as though he was saying "It's ok for me to leave, she can take care of you now".
I was trying to think of a fitting name for her so I thought "What is the opposite of Seymour? See more. See less? Celeste!" I know it's a bit silly but that's how her name came to be, and I think it fits her perfectly! They even have the same nickname pronounced "See". She is such a little love and I cannot imagine life without her! ❤️
