Pet's Story
After spending the first part of her life as a stray in Owen County, Luna was adopted from the Bloomington Animal Shelter in 2011.

Lu splits her days working at the IU Law School in Bloomington as the world's only official Intellectual Property Dog* (follow her on Twitter @ciprmaurerluna), and spending time with her friends at The Dog House.

Luna lives with five cats and a human who thinks she is the best dog (currently) on the planet.

This summer Lu traveled across the country to Oregon. This photo captures Luna's exuberance upon finding herself at the beach for the first time!

More than anything, Luna proves that wonderful rescue animals are waiting at shelters to make your life better.
