Pet's Story
Maxwell was born and rescued in Sacramento, CA. He came to us a little broken; took time for him to settle in and stop eating the door frame each time one of us left the room. He made the trek with us to Indiana as we found our way to the country. Maxwell LOVES Indiana! He heads over the hill every morning to visit our neighbor by entering sideways through the cat door and plopping up on her couch, having eaten whatever he found along the way. Fortunately for us she loves him too! Maxwell can be found at The Dog House every Monday hanging with his friends burning off his boundless energy. His home away from home provides a loving, safe place for him when needed. Maxwell brings us daily doses of joy and completes our family. What a beautiful world it would be if people had hearts like dogs! Our family is forever grateful for Maxwell . . .
