Pet's Story
Rescued all my adult life. Lost 2 within 2 weeks of each other to diseases. Remaining: Miss Anna Montana, age 13, who was more lost than I was without her pack mates. She needed a brother. We found Presley at a nearby county shelter, he had been given up by his stewards. Four days into bringing him home, he became literally deathly ill. He spent 4 days at our wonderful vet hospital, Arlington Heights South. Was told had I not brought him in, he would've been dead in 1 to 2 days. Presley has had it rough, from stewards who weren't taking care of him, to a shelter, to a Forever Home --- but only for 4 days. He's well now, an overcomer, and is the sweetest, happiest dog I have ever had the pleasure to have rescued. He practices LOVE, HAPPINESS, never meets a dog he doesn't adore, and most of all, is Pure Joy to watch explore a world he has never known; the insides of a HOME, stretching that long frame in my and Anna's bed (!), so extremely interested in this world, where he can run, play, and be loved until his time is up. Presley, we salute you for all you've come through, without even a hint of all the trials you have suffered.
