Pet's Story
Abby and her brother, McGee, were found in a ditch. They have been in at least two homes, but have found their forever home in Springfield, IL. Abby is a Manx, born with no tail. Her back legs are longer than her front legs and she does little hops when she is about to take off running and wiggles when she walks. It took a while for Abby to trust and accept a lot of affection. She originally wasn't sure if she liked being picked up, but now she expects for me to pick her up when I get home. She will just take off in a sprint and then stop on a dime. She loves to play and get scratched. She wants to be at the highest point in every room, and likes to look out the window and watch the world going on outside. Abby is brave, smart, funny and fast. She can jump and do acrobatics in order to attack a bug, toy, or string. The rug in front of the stove is her spot, where she'll just fall over on her side and roll to her back and pose with her little paws up so that I will scratch her belly. Abby stretches in the "down cat" position all of the time because she knows how cute her little butt is. She will put up with her big brother chasing her and then cuddle with him later on the bed. She is loving and sweet.
