Pet's Story
We pulled FancyFace from Johnson County animal shelter. She was surrendered for loving a little too hard (she likes to nibble on hands if she takes a notion). Fancy spent her first two weeks in prison hiding behind a book shelf. Our director fell in love with her during this time. We put out soft food, toys, cat nip etc. until she finally got enough courage to come out and explore. Fancy has been living in the dog dorm going between offices and she greets everyone that comes on the unit. She is quick to take charge if a puppy or dog gets out of line by smacking them in the face with her declawed paws. We have learned that if Fancy choses a spot to sit its best to let her sleep. It has been decided that FancyFace will spend life in prison without parole.
