Pet's Story
Jefferson was adopted from the Bloomington Animal Shelter a year ago. We spotted him soon after he was dumped outside the shelter door at around 9 weeks old. His DNA test to determine breed, showed him to be... ahem...let's just say, worldly and well-rounded. We thought he would grow into his ears, but instead, his ears just kept growing right along with him. He has chosen to embrace this, and love his body as it is. We had no idea that little pup would become so full of life! His hobbies are many and varied. They include... bravely chasing deer out of his yard, chasing (and occasionally catching) bunnies :'-(, pulling stuffing out of all his toys, bedding and couch cushions and scattering it about the house as a sort of performance art, stealing and hiding shoes, dish towels and oven mitts, antagonizing his sister, dragging outside everything meant to stay inside, bringing inside everything meant to stay outside, and so much more! He demonstrates hospitality to other dogs who visit by humping them tirelessly, especially other males, because he believes that love is love. <3 He appreciates fine art, just apparently not portraits of himself. He is a "bone" a-fide renaissance dog, and he needs your vote!
