Pet's Story
At 5 weeks old and roughed up by the stray life, Curry was rescued from the middle of Curry Pike by his adopted human mom. Upon rescue, he hid inside the console of her vehicle for 30 hours while he thwarted his new family’s efforts to welcome him into his new home. A humane trap and some bites of cottage cheese later (thanks to the advice of the City of Bloomington Animal Care and Control staff), Curry was welcomed into his second chance at life. Curry now lives an indoor life of luxury, where he enjoys regular feedings, snuggles, and watching neighborhood happenings from his favorite window. Though he will not contribute to overpopulation with kittens of his own, he enjoys a loving human family who showers him with special treats and praise.
