Pet's Story
It was early December 2015 and I was looking at rescue pups to bring home as a surprise. I'd spent three weeks looking through countless pictures, looking for an intangible quality I've always been lucky to find in the pups that live with me. Then I saw Dexter and it was an immediate "There you are!" moment. Dex's eyes were soulful, kind, and tinged with an expression that lends itself to a mischievous nature. His hind legs were in a full-on frog position in a way I'd not seen. Colors everywhere. Perfect.
I met his foster family at Petco the next day and he introduced himself by immediately using me as a fire hydrant. Love at first sight.

When I presented him to Casey, she was in tears and I knew I'd chosen well. He's been turning frowns upside down every day since and has been a part of countless adventures with us. He enjoys surviving and annoying his older sister, Ava, watching TV (particularly Game of Thrones and Westworld), and loving anyone who wants to give him a thorough rub-down.
