Pet's Story
Avalanche is the head of security at Grey Dog Gallery in Gosport, Indiana. He was born on Easter in 2015 in Nashville, Indiana. He learned all he could about being a puppy and a good citizen from from his mom, Bizzy, seven siblings, and three other canine friends/nannies. Avalanche then traveled to Gosport to help his new mom and dad turn their dreams of owning and running an art gallery into a reality.
He's worked in retail his whole life; and he loves meeting new people, especially kids. He loves to howl along to the town's monthly siren tests; and it takes him about a minute and a half to eat a boiled egg. Earlier this year, he traveled all the way to Wyoming and learned about being a working dog on a cattle ranch. He'd like to go back, but he doesn't get so much PTO.
Avalanche has many nicknames, Lancho, Lava Lamp, Swampo (thats for when he goes in the river/pond), Puppo, etc. Most people ask what kind of dog he is; I think a few people actually remember. Avalanche is an Anatolian Shepard/ Great Pyrenees mix.
He's a big, gentle boy with a heart of gold.
