Pet's Story
May came to Mercy Rescue in 2016. She was found wandering the countryside of JC snorting and having a ball. She became an immediate favorite of the rescue! She tried a home in the hills of Ky. That didn’t quite work out so she became a permanent member of the rescue and will reside in her Indiana home onsite until her snorting days are over! May was renamed Mater after she became as round as one. Her favorite tasks are cleaning out food bowls, napping, and bossing the other dogs around. She can be a bit of a diva! She doesn’t mind fashion shows and wearing tutus! Her favorite human is Jamie and she doesn’t mind riding his tractor! Getting her butt scratched is always a good way to make acquaintances with her! A hound dog at heart a true lover of life Mater is the queen of our rescue!
