Pet's Story
Roscoe is our forever puppy--a big boy with a wild heart of gold.

Roscoe was adopted as a puppy by a young family. As time went on, they did not have the right home to offer Roscoe (remember, he is wild). More and more, Roscoe spent time outdoors until a relative intervened and took him to the Martin County Shelter.

The shelter staff LOVED Roscoe; he was an obvious favorite. At the shelter for several months before we saw his profile on Petfinder, we still laugh about how Roscoe "didn't show well." The staff was so kind, telling us we could take Roscoe home and bring him back if the match wasn't right.

Fast forward 3 years! We can't imagine our lives without Roscoe. He and our older dog (Luna) are BFFs. Roscoe is great with his cat buddy (Gram) and loves going to the woods, running, and overseeing neighborhood activities from the top of our picnic table.
