Pet's Story
I am a Lilac Point Himalayan with quite a long story. My photo was taken seventeen years ago when I was about three and was living with my humans. Previously, I had been dumped at the shelter (imagine that, a diva like me…dumped!). Upon arrival at the shelter it was clear that I had not been cared for, I was super sick and had a really bad eye infection (in both eyes – yuck!) that created permanent scars on my corneas. I could not see anything for the longest time and once the infections cleared up, I regained a small fraction of my sight. I can see enough to find my way around (especially to the food dish) and use my voice to alert my humans that it is time to feed me. I have led a charmed life since I was adopted and while my current photo is not nearly as glamourous as my younger one, on the inside, I remain a sophisticated princess.
