How much is the entry fee?
The entry fee for the contest is $10 per photo. We welcome multiple entries and additional donations to help us continue to carry out our lifesaving work!
How do I enter the contest?
You can enter the contest by submitting your photo(s) online beginning 8:00:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 until 8:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Thursday, June 30, 2022. Please do not mail or e-mail us any submissions. They will not be accepted.
What animals are allowed to be entered into the contest?
Only photos of cats and dogs will be accepted.
How many photos can I enter?
You can enter as many photos as you want! The more the merrier.
Are people allowed to be in the photos?
Sorry, dogs and cats only! Plus, they're cuter than most humans.
If my pet wins a top 12 calendar space, can he or she also win a category prize?
No, you cannot win both. If your pet places in the top 12 and wins a category prize, the category prize will go to the next winner in line for that category.
How do I vote for a pet's photo?
You can vote for photos online for just $2 per vote. Everyone is allowed to vote as many times as they'd like, and you are allowed to vote for your own pet.
Your $2 vote can help us make a big difference!
- 10 votes pay for a patient to get their rabies shot
- 20 votes pay for a cat spay/neuter surgery
- 40 votes pay for a dog spay/neuter surgery
When will the photo shoot of the winner take place?
We will contact the winner after the contest has closed to go over the details.
Can I donate to Pets Alive without entering or voting?
Absolutely! As a nonprofit, Pets Alive relies on the support of folks like you to keep our surgery prices low. You can donate on our secure
