Lily was born on a farm. My husband and I adopted her as a kitten. She is a tortie, but has some Siamese in her family. Lily nearly died four years ago from an internal abscess. She was in the hospital for several days, and when she came home, had to be syringe fed every two hours, and had to be medicated. I was sick with pneumonia at the time, but as sick as I was, Lily came first. My husband and I nurses her for a few weeks like that. She eventually recovered. We call her our little miracle kitty, as she was literally on death's door. She loves these toy kitties. She is very friendly and greets everyone who comes to our house--friends, repair people, anyone, with meows, rubbing her head against them, and demanding to be petted. Her full name is Lily Rose Martiniak.
