Waffles was deserted by his owner, and was kept in a basement with 2 dogs. Dog food was thrown down to them, and Waffles had to struggle to get any food. He was very thin when he was found, and had a bad case of fleas. He is mostly blind. The big-hearted family who found him had a new puppy, and couldn't keep Waffles. They offered him to my Granddaughter and I, and helped us pay for vet bills and flea treatments. He has gained weight, and is the King of our castle. He is huggy and affectionate...and VERY HANDSOME! He gives "lick kisses", and stretches his paws around our necks for furry hugs. He talks to us when he needs a treat, and loves to play with pon poms dipped in catnip. We adore our boy, Waffles!
