Scooby was adopted from the Marion County Humane Society in Indiana when his owner graduated college and was looking for a hiking buddy.

After moving to southern Virginia, Chance joined the family from Appomattox County Animal Control where he was owner-surrendered as a failed hunting dog. They loved hiking through the Blue Ridge Parkway and Shenandoah Valley, and 18 months later moved to Washington State where they took their love of the trails to the Pacific Northwest.

In total Scooby and Chance have made 4 cross-country moves, visited 18 states, seen the Atlantic and Pacific oceans, and been the best furry friends a girl could ask for! For the past three years, and for the foreseeable future, they call southern Wisconsin home.
