Ruger was a prisoner in a puppy mill in Missouri for 6 years of his life. He was rescued by Diamond Dogs Rescue and brought to Wisconsin where we adopted him. At the age of 7 years old Ruger was house broken, learned what’s it’s like to be a spoiled family member and learned what is love. Ruger is our big goofy standard poodle who loves everyone.
Ruger loves the couch. Every night he lays on his back and sleeps peacefully. Ruger takes up the entire couch but we don’t mind at all. It’s been almost a year since we adopted him and hopefully he doesn’t remember that horrible puppy mill.
