Maddy Is a 14 year old Maltese adopted from Northcentral Maltese Rescue Inc. located in Racine, WI. At the time we adopted her she had just been rescued from a WI puppy mill where she was scheduled to be killed because they could not get her to breed. Luckily they contacted the Rescue which is how she came to us.

Puppy mill dogs require unlimited TLC and it took years for her to come to trust people she encounters, including my husband. But with the help of her brother Jack, a rescued Lhasa, she now has a pretty easy life. Please consider checking shelters before buying from breeders.
