A little about me...
Meet Harvey, a 100lb German Shepherd mix who got his start as a rescue puppy from the Wisconsin Humane Society. These days, he keeps life interesting with his big personality and even bigger ears. Harvey is a survivor of Masticatory Muscle Myositis (MMM), a rare autoimmune disease that affects the muscles used for chewing. It can cause muscle loss around the head and jaw, giving him his signature look. We’re incredibly grateful to the compassionate and skilled team at the Center for Animal Health in Wauwatosa, whose expertise and care made all the difference in his journey. The disease may have left his head a little dented, but he's proof a few dents don't slow you down!
