Welcome to our annual Pints & Paws Photo Contest (formerly the Cutest Pet Photo Contest)!
This year we are taking this contest in a whole new direction. We've partnered with Good Works Brewing to put together two incredible prize packages – one for the Top Dog and one for the Top Cat.
Both the
dog with the most votes and the
cat with the most votes at the end of the contest (well, their humans that is) will work with the Good Works Brewing team to formulate their very own brew, name it, AND have their pet's photo featured on the label!
Once the custom beer is ready to go, the Good Works Brewing team will throw a release party where the winners will get to attend with their pet AND get to pull the first pour from the tap! The winner will also get to take home some extra souvenir cans to commemorate their special win.
So, is your pet cute enough to win a custom brewing experience?? Here's your chance to put your beloved companion in the spotlight - it only costs you $10 to register!
And it's easy! Just enter your pet's picture here. Then tell everyone – your family, friends, social media followers – and then wait for the votes to roll in!
Voting is simple – One vote costs $1 dollar. People can vote as often as they like and votes will be displayed on the contest web page as they come in! Remember – vote early, vote often, and encourage friends and family to vote too!
Our goal is to raise $20,000 to help continue our mission – helping pets go home again!

Deadline and Voting
- Contest Entry and Voting dates are as follows:
8:00 AM (Central Time) on Friday, April 17, 2026 – 6:00 PM (Central Time) on Sunday, May 17, 2026 - Entry Fee - $10 per photo entry
- Voting Fee - $1 for each vote
- There is no limit to the number of votes cast or number of times one person can vote
- Winners will be determined by most votes per singular photo
- Winners will be announced on 5/18/2026
Photo Requirements
- Your photo can contain any number of pets
- Please, no people in the photo(s)
- Pets do not have to be adopted from the Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin in order to participate in the contest.
- We cannot accept heavily edited photos, photos with stickers or doodles or any copyrighted photos.
- Photos must be high resolution.
- If your pet wins, but your photo is not high enough quality for printing, we will ask you for a new photo.
Conditions
- By entering this competition, you agree to these entry rules and the following legal conditions:
- By entering, participants warrant that his or her entry materials are original, that they are the photographer and they do not infringe on any third party's rights, and that participant has obtained any necessary permissions from any third party if a third party's property appears in the photograph.
- The Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin reserves the right to reject any inappropriate submissions without returning registration fee
- Once entered, photos become the property of the Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin to be used for print and marketing purposes.
