Your Pet's Story or Bio
We adopted Rudy in 2019. While living in New Jersey after his expectant mom was found wandering along railroad tracks in Texas. Rudy has gotten us through a career transition, the pandemic, our move to Wilmington and then Winding River and on an endless quest to stay active and improve our health.

Rudy is a highly lovable, and highly active black dog with an incredible nose. He’s part Treeing Walker Coonhound who passionately chases the Winding River squirrels with the commitment of Wile E Coyote. You can find him walking the streets and smelling the bushes of WR each morning at 6:30 each day, rain or shine. He loves meeting other dogs and knows many other WR walkers who share the morning. As the mayor of “Happytown,” Winding River is Rudy’s world for sure. We’re all just part of his big happy story.
