After our beloved rescued dachshund, Oskar, went over the Rainbow bridge, our home felt empty.So our daughter and I took a ride to the Brunswick Country Sheriff's shelter. After seeing some other dogs that were too big, they brought out a little dog who was just out of quarantine. When I saw that poor scared little girl my
heart jumped an extra beat. They allowed us some time to get acquainted and we signed the papers, paid the fee and brought home a 2 year old Jack Russell and Cairn terrier mix named Santana. This coming November she will be with us 6 years. Even though I adopted her she is Daddy's little girl and follows him everywhere. She is our pride and joy! Whoops I forgot to tell you we changed her name to Bridie. Adopting her was the right decision!
