Willie was found as a 6 weeks old, dehydrated, flea infested, deaf, blue eyed, all white, probably born to a mama barn cat. The day I picked him up off that country dirt road, it was my birthday and he was the best present I could have ever received! He is now 13 years old and the love of my life! He knows hand signals and speaks loudly and often, he's a silly boy who is the "prince" of the clowder and cares for all the youngsters. Being deaf did not stop him one bit, it enhanced his personality and gave him the kindest, innocent soul a feline could ever have.
