Midas was rescued from a place of filth as a puppy by animal control. He was adopted from the shelter and raised by his original owner until 2 1/2 years of age. That owner could no longer keep him so we took him in. He has been the perfect fit in our family for over a year now. At times, the 87 pound Husky/Rott mix acts more like a cat, which suits his kitty brother and sister just fine. He has the most gentle of souls and an amazing level of intelligence. He is more than capable if pulling my 230 pound self across the floor yet knows to only match the strength of our 3 year old boy when he plays tug-of-war. Midas is the epitome of 'Man's Best Friend'.
