We went to PHS to find a companion for Felix.

We were drawn to a shy kitty hiding under the towels. Terrified - trembling, eyes wide with fear. We couldn't leave Sally behind. I was reminded of another shelter - another time - when we took home the friendly cat and left behind the frightened kitty in the cage.

Sally has made a lot of progress & isn't quite as skittish. She is a talented little clown - dragging her favorite kitchen spatula around. She is, also, highly skilled at removing cat food tins from the recycle bin. Sometimes, she even allows pets.

Poor Felix, our resident cat, has been nothing but a gracious host. Sally has finally stopped hissing and growling every time she sees him. Felix is still hopeful that there may be a friendship in their future. Poor Felix - the eternal optimist.
