Stella Blue has had 2 separate lives. The one before we adopted her, and the one after. We really don't know much about her life before the day PHS-SPCA picked her up running loose at Edgewood Park in late 2010. But what we do know is that she's very happy with us and loves her new home. Sometimes known as "The Dog With No Ears", a term of endearment she has inherited, has had poems and songs written about her. When we go for walks, people will stop their cars just to say what a beautiful girl she is. And sometimes they will ask about her ears, but she'll just smile and then tug on the leash as if to say, "No time for such dribble, it's time for our walk!" Stella, like all dogs really, shows me how wonderful it is to be alive.
