Junebug was a stray found in Salinas that I adopted from the Santa Cruz SPCA in 2014. She had been in the shelter for 9 months due to being dog reactive and shy; she couldn't go home with other animals or children. She ended up being the perfect addition to complete my tiny family. In 2017 she passed away suddenly due to complications from an undiagnosed condition called megaesophagus. She was the sweetest couch potato cuddle bug and my best friend. She will always be in my heart. RiP baby girl.
