Misty came to us after my mother-in-law informed us a family had sold their home on their street in Palo Alto and left behind a young female cat, desperately hungry, begging for food at every door. My husband (not a cat person) came home with this little girl one evening and the rest, as they say, is history. Now the alpha female in our home of 5 other rescue felines, she is a caring if sometimes domineering boss lady who keeps everyone in check. We can’t imagine not having her in the family!
