Mongo and Lulu-pigs came from very different backgrounds. Mongo was at the PHS at only 6 months old, adopted then found in a stranger's kitchen hoping for food. His adopters didn't want him, so he stayed at PHS for another year and half awaiting a home. Overly pampered Lulu-pigs was posted on Craigslist as an overweight senior whose owner couldn't take care of her because of cancer. Two pitbull type dogs labelled with behavioral issues taught each other how to be dogs, even at 9 years old when they met. These gems brought so much light to every human and animal they met conquering every obstacle. Mongo was lost to kidney disease, but Lulu-pigs continues to shine with her kindness and shows everyone she meets the love she has to offer. They could teach humanity quite a bit about love.
