Your Pet's Story or Bio
On May 1, 2018 my kitty Ginger died. I had gotten her from PHS in December 2010, she was 9 years old. I was missing her dearly and I was going through a particularly bad time. On Mother’s day May 13, 2018 my friend was at PHS visiting the kittens and texted me that she thought I should come there right away because there was a cat just for me. I texted back it was too soon and I just couldn’t even think of getting a new kitty yet. Her reply was: “what’s the worst that could happen? You’d love her”? I wiped away tears and got dressed and went down. Well there she was an adorable ball of fluff walking on a pink leash with a volunteer! Her name was Miya. We went into a get acquainted room and she started right away giving my head a hug and lots of head nuzzles using her own head! That did it. I brought her home that day and I have to say she was my savior during a very difficult few months. She puts her arms around my neck and snuggles in when I pick her up after getting home from work and my heart melts each time; she is my love! So I named her Miyamor.
