A little about me...
My name is Stella and I am a senior Shih Tzu who is mostly both blind and deaf. I had a serious bout of pancreatitis just before I moved in with Ann and she now gives me a special diet. I also had surgery to remove some cancer and have a very severe embedded collar scar.

Ann takes me on long walks and lets me have my own blanket and spot on the couch. I love my spot and blanket!! The only room in the house I hate is the bathroom. That is where the water torture happens. She calls it a bath and I must admit that my skin is much less itchy...but don't tell her I told you that.

I began scratching my embedded collar scar and got a nasty and oozing hot spot. Ann cried as she cleaned it and told me how sorry she was that I was abused. But I am all about forgiveness and enjoying my new life. After that I got a whole new look!! The scarf keeps me from scratching my my hot spot and the mohawk allows Ann to put cream on my pyoderma.

I love to "find" food so I suspect Ann puts some food on the couch arm.

I can't see Ann clearly but I can "feel" her and act different when she is not around. She makes me feel safe. She said I inspire her and she looks forward to however much time we have together.
